Meet Madam O Tarot

Madam O Tarot

Hi my name is Marlene and I first was introduced to Tarot at the young age of 15 years old. I didn’t know anything about Tarot but was drawn to the cards that were being displayed in the shop window. They were so beautiful and mysterious I purchased them right away. They didn’t come with a book so actually I had no idea how to use them and I never questioned it either because I didn’t know any better. I just assumed the “game” was that you ask a question, then throw a card down and interpret it as you see it and for the first 5 years that’s all I did. In hindsight this wasn’t such a bad thing because through the five years of “play” and becoming familiar with tarot cards I taught myself to strongly trust my own intuition as my interpretations became more and more accurate over time without me really understanding why and which I now believe has made me the Tarot reader I am today.

After those first 5 years and later in my life that I learnt the truth about Tarot, how the cards work and how to read them. I discovered that each card has a specific meaning and that it is up to the reader how they interpret card combinations which makes each tarot reader unique and each reading different. I developed my skills reading Tarot and began regularly study the culture and history of Tarot. I started reading for family and friends as an outside hobby then eventually brought my skill to the public. I went on to further develop my skills through studying various books on Tarot, familiarizing myself with other Tarot decks, speaking with other Tarot readers and booking readings with them for healing and guidance in my own life (which I still do as I have a great respect for other spiritual healers). Since then I continue to read for others, helping them find their own guidance, clarity and light on their journeys.
